Luxury hamburger chain, Umami Burger two weeks ago opened their 26th worldwide and fourth location in New York in Hudson Hotel, located in the heart of Manhattan. The hotel is close to city’s many tourist attractions including Central Park and Columbus Circle, and sure to be hit among guests to the city.

Its exclusive menu items include shareable bar-friendly appetizers that are designed to pair with Umami signature cocktails from the bar. Other regular items on the menu are the original Umami Burger with Parmesan frico, shiitake mushroom, roasted tomato, caramelized onions and Umami ketchup; and the Manly Burger with a house beer-cheddar cheese, bacon lardons, smoked-salt onion strings, Umami ketchup and mustard spread. Those who like a breakfast burger, they serve an organic over-medium egg, miso-maple bacon, avocado, fresh tomato, arugula and American cheese, topped with garlic aioli on a brioche bun.

The Umami Hudson is not just any burger joint, it features carefully designed colorful interiors and exteriors. All designed by SBE subsidiary, Dakota Development. The spacious dining area with lofty ceilings and exposed bricks is furnished with stenciled dark wood tables, while the lounge features sofas, drapery, and a fireplace. There is also a street art-inspired wall by artist Ryan Graeff, a NYC scenes-inspired mural with a Godzilla reference in a nod to Umami Burger’s Japanese roots.
